Cobble Stones measures 53 x 61 inches.

Mom just started the sample; it should be done in the next week or so.

We will have our first meeting on

 Saturday, October 10th

From there we will decide as a group how we want the club to work.

We will be getting in several more bolts of Fig Tree.

Sweet Salvage

the quilt show in Renville was fantastic…the quilts were wonderful.  we have a new sample up in the shoppe.  it is called Sweet Salvage and is made from civil war pink and browns.  it is 78 x 88 inches and the kit sells for $97.00 with the pattern and muslin seperate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

strawberry shortcake

trees are changing from soft green to shades of fire, flame, and sunset.  blackbirds are clumping, and we are getting ready for fall…check out Prairie Twilight below made from Kansas Troubles. 

                                       Are you up for strawberry shortcake?…this new sample is delicious.  it uses an Aviary     honeybun and yardage of 2 strawberry prints for the narrow and wide border and binding.  it was pulled off the machine yesterday and washed and dried.  the picture is below and kits are available.  the quilts measure 58 x 72 inches.

fall Sweet-BEE retreat

 quilters–

 

our fall retreat will be held in the lodge at Bugbee Hive

Resort on Lake Koronis.  we will have access to a pool,

hot tub, large sewing area, lounge area, and full kitchen.

 

just thought i would let you know about our fall retreat.

everyone will be put into groups and each group

will be in charge of one meal either lunch or supper

including cleanup (we do have access to a dishwasher).

 breakfast is on your own.

 

November 4-8 Wednesday-Sunday

2 night minimum

2 nights $40/night plus tax $85.50

3 nights $35/night plus tax $112.22

4 nights $30/night plus tax $128.25

 

we will be accepting checks only.  make checks out to

Bugbee Hive Resort.  if you would like to pay with
