mom and i hope that you all are having a safe and happy 2012.  how january has flown by…crazy!

this blog post is in reference to the upcoming holiday…Valentine’s Day!  An alright holiday…i don’t mind chocolate–but what i really love is mom’s new quilt He LOves me… just in time for the season of love.  this quilt is made using Rouenneries Deux by French General and Etchings by 3 Sisters and a little bit of linen.

sorry i haven’t had a chance to post those pictures i promised, but i thought i would get this new event out there so you all could mark your calendars.

Quilts 4 sAlE!  Friday & Saturday May, 4th & 5th

mom & i–upon much reflection (and probably the fact that everywhere we look we see quilts) have decided to go through our old samples and offer them (ones that we aren’t severely attached to) to you.  we will be slowly going through them all and marking them and getting them ready for a new home.  i will be putting some on etsy for sale, so if you love something but don’t see it…please let me know and i’ll list it if it is one we will be selling.  stop by anytime to take a look at what we’ve marked.

if i haven’t received a mailing address in a week…a new name will be drawn.

we will be open regular hours this weekend…then on MONDAY we will start our week long celebration of 2012 and SPRING and all the new stuff we got in last fall!

the lovely red and greens from Fig Tree are such a traditional Christmas theme…with the green a little more apple and not so much pine.  LOVE this bundle of “a Very Figgy Christmas“…

Some 1862 Battle Hymn…brand spankin’ new from Barbara Brackman for moda…this line is so…so…AMAZING!  the colors are beautiful,  old shades of grey, tan, blue, red, peach, and brown.

Rouenneries Deux by Kaari Meng of French General…is packed with her signature style in her signature colors of grey, oyster, red, and tan.  we’ve got charms, jelly rolls, and layer cakes of this lovely line…yardage to arrive sometime in early 2012.

Ellen Medlock…2 handled–PURSE HANDLES…these are the new rage!  we’ve got 6 of them left…mom is going to be coming up with a fun new bag that will feature these brand new shoppe lovelies!
