what we did during the storm!!!!

Mom has been diligently working all through the storm…she started yesterday on a pile of 5 projects (not 4 like a i had originally thought).  She finished up the first Eydie A…(named after my dearly departed grandfather…mom’s dad, Ed)…it is made from a Luna Notte jelly roll and used the pale gray for the sashing and binding and the brown micro-dot from Metropolis.  It is absolutely stunning–and will be more so once it has been quilted and washed.  I took a teaser pic of it…won’t it be gorgeous?!  It measures 82 x 96 inches and the kit including the pattern will be $129 including binding.

Next up is a fun little table runner perfect for spring.  This uses Anna Griffin’s Dorothy Collection…1 charm pack and a little bit of yardage.  We have a handful of charm packs left that i’ll kit up with the back and binding.  I’ll get everyone the price on those tomorrow…but for now check out the picture below!

Lastly, the as of now untitled blue and cream quilt…Using a variety of civil war blues, creams, and gray’s, mom put them in a straight setting of half square triangles and 9-patches; she will be adding a border and a striped ruffle.  We’ll have kits and the pattern available by the end of the week tentatively priced at $67 including the ruffle with the pattern separate.  Measures 58 x 73 inches…

She has 2 more on the to-do list…i’ll keep everyone updated…

stay warm…happy quilting!
