Mom and I have been working on some adorable Sweet Confections…I just finished up a Grandmother’s Flower Garden Mini and new ones are in the works…Tumblers, Double Wedding Ring, and Apple Core to name a few (all with the help of Paper Pieces).  As these are finished kits will be made available…we are also working on putting the first 13 (Baker’s Dozen) patterns together and having just the patterns available!  We’ll keep you in the loop on that.

now for some new eye candy!

we still love grey!  LOVE grey!  and we really love it with peach…

a Whisper of Roses…a little bit fig tree, a little bit cottage, totally and completely Sweetwater Style…mom is finishing up a fun new bed-size cottage style quilt that has a little ruffle on some of the blocks–so cute and sweet and makes you feel all happy!  that one will be quilted and kitted sometime next week….until then i’ll be listing fat quarter and fat 8th bundles on etsy.

At the end of the bed i flipped over a small shelved table and slid it under a slightly taller table…a great place to store the “pretty” bed pillows without them being strewn about the floor.  Store those fun throw pillows in an old picnic basket or vintage wicker basket.

a Whisper of Roses…a little bit fig tree, a little bit cottage…a lot Sweetwater Style…mom is working on a quilt at the retreat that features soft pin tucked ruffles…i’ll be quilting and kitting it next week.  we do have fat quarters and fat 8th bundles that will be listed on etsy.

even though you can’t get in the garden…we have a wonderful array of florals to get you thinking of spring.  bliss…the large quilt along the bottom is made with 61 different prints.  only a couple kits left!

cottage half jelly–20–2 1/2 x 40 inch strips of cottage style florals, dots, tonals, solids, and houndstooth prints.

suitcase full of fat 8th rolls (each roll is 1 yard of fabric)…the Gumdrop bundles include that wonderful candy pink, dark sky blue, and green tea!

while cleaning out the office…we found a stash of Ruby by Bonnie and Camille and made up a few more Ribbon Candy Sweet Confections.  we do have a few fat 8th bundles left…along with a couple bolts.  this fabric is now out of print and hard to find.

1flastly…a little civil war love…Miss Molly is kitted and will be listed on etsy in one of these soon days.

that’s all for today!  i hope you have a wonderful weekend…the weather is just lovely!

happy spring!  -a&m  {sweetwater}

  1. Oh how I love the peaches and grays. Looks like I need to get shoping and I will definately buy a book of patterns.

    • Is Whisper of Roses the quilt on the wall that appears to be pinwheels? I love that quilt and would love to know what pattern it is. The colors you have used are just lovely! Can you give me some information about it? Carol in Texas

what do you think?
