Ruffled Rose

Ruffled Rose…is just so adorable.  Lovely checks, dots, florals, and a scrunchy grey ruffle.  Totally shabby, totally cottage-y, totally Sweetwater.  Ruffled Rose will be available in the next couple days.  –also, notice how we staggered all the seams, no need to worry about matching up corners.  Perfect for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced!

Also, new in-store are some embroidery spring hoops…in 3 inch, 4 inch, and 6 inch and EdMar needles. Take a look at our etsy shoppe or stop by and check them out!

Junkin’ on James is tomorrow and Saturday…we’ll have bloomers from tina-rie studio, Garden Party themed junk, clay pots, quilts, bags, etc.  Saturday is the farmer’s market, the flea market, and city garage sales.

our OTHER etsy shoppe… is where you can find all of our quilts listed for sale.  we are slowly adding retired quilts to this shoppe.  it is a slow process and we have tons of them floating around.  if there is one you see somewhere…be sure to check there and if it’s not listed send me an email at sweetwatercottonshoppe(at)yahoo(dot)com with the name of the quilt.  i will see if it on the pile to be listed.

up next…Sylvia…i know we are about 7 behind, and i sincerely apologize.  That Lancaster Rose is still not finished…you can’t crank out needle-turn.  it just doesn’t work…so that one is sadly, not finished.  But i do have a few others ready for your viewing pleasure…Laurel Wreath, LeMoyne Star, and Lincoln’s Platform.  hopefully, next week we’ll have Lancaster Rose finished up along with the Log Cabin, Love in a Mist, and Mariner’s Compass.

  1. I love the way this quilt looks. The fabrics are beautiful, and I love the way you pieced the blocks together.

what do you think?
