Annabelle’s Snowbird

Good morning!  We hope you had a wonderful weekend…it has been hectic with Maxy getting hurt, but more on that later.

I took pictures of it this morning in mom’s garden and the sunlight made the fabrics just pop!  Annabelle uses the entire line of cotton prints from Snowbird by Edyta Sitar for Laundry Basket Quilts.  This line is a lovely mix of light, medium, and dark blue, along with vanilla.  We added a pin tuck to instead of binding.  Annabelle measures 55 x 70 inches.  We washed and dried it so it feels shabby, comfy, and floofy.

I even had a little fun folding the kits to look like little presents.

Kit is available in our etsy shoppe…along with the paper pattern…and the pdf pattern.

May Update:  Our rambunctious lab hurt his leg on Saturday morning.  He is doing quite well…it is still a little weak, and he drags it sometimes when he is walking around…but we are thinking he’s going to be just fine in no time.

Join us tomorrow for James Taran’s block from Olivia’s Sampler tomorrow morning.

enjoy!–april&mickey  {sweetwater}
