Quilt Minnesota 2019 project sneak peaks

good afternoon…mom and i have been hard at work stitching up and trying to finish up some Quilt Minnesota projects…

tentatively it will feature…a large quilt, a table topper, potholders, pillow, and pillowcases…5 quick Minnesota-inspired projects to show your love for this great state!

I am super excited for this years booklet collection…still debating names for the some of the projects, our block, and the booklet…all in good time.

i do have a couple sneak peaks for you today…

Minnesota Night Sky

Each shop in our section will have Potholder kits featuring their block…we will be offering our potholders in 2 colorways…stormy skies (grey) and pink sky at night (below)–look at that fancy-pants hang loop!

Pink Sky at Night Potholder…features a mixture of Quilt Minnesota 2019 and Grunge prints

IN LOVE with the potholders! We are still waiting on a coordinating Grunge to match up with the Stormy Skies colorway…but when we get it in…we’ll be whipping that one up too.

Both projects will be kitted…if you can’t wait drop us an email and we can get you set up with a kit and booklet so you don’t have to worry about missing out once the hop begins. (email is sweetwatercottonshoppe(@)yahoo(.)com)

Minnesota Night Sky kit includes booklet and scrappy binding $126.

Sky Potholder kit is complete (includes block pattern sheet, fabric for front, back, binding, hang loop, insulbrite, and batting for 1 potholder) $8.99

it’s nearing 5 bells and my Stars in the Garden using 3/8 inch hexies and 30’s repos is waiting for me…happy stitching! –april & mickey sweetwater
