precuts have arrived….
introducing Rue 1800…a sister collection to both Poetry and Porcelain…classic seaside inspiring colors including robin’s egg, dove, porcelain, and rose.
Rue 1800 is 3 Sisters spring 2020 collection and though it embodies all of their classic 3 Sisters-ness…it is also it’s own vision. The rose is a little pinker, the robin’s egg a little bluer, the prints a little bolder…yet still oh, so pretty.
Rue 1800 is explained as follows in the moda catalog…
“In a quiet corner of Paris, not far from the banks of the Seine, there is a lovely apartment building that embodies the spirit of the city, especially in the spring. It’s been said that Paris is for changing your outlook, for throwing open the windows and letting in the la vie en rose. Roses. And pink.”
i think that description is spot on…after a winter like we’ve had it is definitely time to throw open the windows and cut into some Rue 1800.

And Lancaster…Jo Morton’s newest collection…
Classic and gorgeous…Jo really knows how to put a collection together!
Jo describes Lancaster as follows…
“Forever in the love with 19th Century Quilts, my Lancaster collection fills the bill to add another color layer to our quilts.
Lancaster provides beautiful prints for traditional and reproduction quilts, including madder reds and gold that give life to the 19th century browns, blacks, and neutrals. These fabrics feature a great “Momma bear” stripe that’s not too big, not too small, that’s just right, lovely florals, and a cool little dot print. There are leaves and buds, a few interesting background prints and a sweet small check will be perfect for traditional quilts. “
add lancaster to your civil war stash…here.
