Row by Row…Sew Musical…Sweet Melody

Good morning!

Row by Row starts in just a couple weeks.  the theme this year is Sew Musical and it was sew much fun coming up with a row and coordinating our plate and coming up with a nifty little play on words.

Our row is called Sweet Melody and our fabric plate is Sew Grand…how fun is that?!

 

Mom nor i are musically inclined…never had piano lessons, but thought this would turn out wonderfully!

Still in the pattern writing phase…haven’t moved onto the kit cutting yet but i have a price.  Kit will cost $15.00…this includes the pattern sheet, black grunge and white on white for the front and binding also it includes a piece of white for the back, so you can make your piano row into a table runner.

Row by Row…on the GO!

we are getting ready for Row x Row…on the Go!

–I just love that little car…full of fabric–

we are busy designing and getting our display ideas all in one place…as for the theme…

something with wheels or wings…or BOTH!  planes, trains, and automobiles?  a Wagon Wheel…shoes…cars…travel…the. ideas. are. endless.

hmmm…I’m going to have to pull out the big block book (and I mean BIG) full of pieced quilt blocks and see what I can find…

Sew a Season theme…

July 1st-September 1st stop by participating quilt shops and pick up the row patterns (Keep in mind that quilters don’t have borders…pick up a row pattern at ANY participating quilt shop…across the US and Canada!)

October 31st the deadline for submitting a quilt for a 25-fat quarter bundle!

(submit a quilt by being the 1st to stop by a participating quilt shop with your quilt finished -pieced, quilted, bound, labeled- we’ll take your picture with your quilt and it will be featured online and you’ll be the proud owner of the 25-fat quarter bundle!)
