good morning! mom and i are back from bemidji. we had a wonderful time teaching Brazilian Embroidery, catching up with Bonnie, and kicking off our shows for 2020.
we’ve been getting the shop switched around to showcase some of our favorite collections…right now…we are falling in love with Rue 1800. Soft, gentle, sweet, summery…perfect florals, classic paisleys, gorgeous colors of rose, porcelain, dove, robin’s egg, and cobblestone. i want to drop everything i’m doing and start cutting up a jelly roll (what i would make i’m not quite sure but the colors are so welcomed after a chilly winter).
the precuts for this collection include honeybuns which work wonderfully with 1/2 inch hexies (if you are looking for a summery hand project)…a stars in the garden would be lovely!
we sprung for the entire 40 bolt collection because we couldn’t pick just 10 or 12 or 18 or 32. they are all just so pretty and the florals are a mixture of new and some classic which makes them perfect for mixing with their previous collections…especially Poetry, Porcelain, and Victoria. The dove and cobblestone lean more towards a brown…but still has a slight grey tone to it…truly lucsious!
here they are all snuggled into the mantle…(the colors are even prettier in person!)

all the yardage and precuts are online now…grab your favorites right here.
also…some new fingering yarn from the Uluru Collection by Queensland

lovely, soft, and perfect for a little weekend knitting. grab a ball here.
gabby-goo is getting impatient so i’d better get going.
have a wonderful evening!
